About this event

In today’s interconnected world, the realm of cybersecurity stands at a critical juncture. The relentless advancement of technology has brought about unprecedented opportunities, but with them come equally unprecedented challenges. At the heart of this technological revolution lies Artificial Intelligence, a transformative force that holds immense promise in fortifying our digital defenses yet raises thought-provoking questions about its implications.

Amey Anekar will showcase a demo on the Good, the Bad and the Ugly sides of where cyber security and AI meet. Amey is a cybersecurity professional with 15 years of industry experience. Currently, he is associated with HackerOne as a Sr. Tech Lead, continuing his journey in the realm of cybersecurity. Since the advent of LLMs (Language Learning Machines), Amey has been experimenting with the technology, harnessing its potential to enhance and automate Cybersecurity processes, resulting in significant time and resource savings. Amey shares his unique thoughts and insights with the industry via his blog `techkranti.com`.

315 days since ChatGPT, organizations still struggle with the risks of (Generative) AI because we’re being influenced by Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD). It’s time to disentangle the security risks and identify the opportunities. Rens van Dongen will discuss practical strategies and unveil the approach of the Dutch Railways, a public transport behemoth with over 1 million daily passengers, €6 billion in annual revenue, and 19,000 employees.

Andriy is now leading a team of Information security risk experts while balancing the responsibilities of being a Deputy CISO at Arcadis. The topic he will be talking about is around one of the risks from adopting AI within an organization. This is focusing not on the technology but on the human element, how organizations need to invest (training and awareness) in its employees in order to fully get the benefit of AI as well as address potential risks of AI usage.
