Our Trainers

Robert van der Zwart

Robert van der Zwart is the Chief Learning Officer for the Cyber Security District Academy, bringing over 25 years of teaching experience to the role. He has taught medical professionals, executives, and academics, holding positions as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Nyenrode Business University, and Utrecht University.

As the founder of one of the earliest online learning platforms for medical professionals, Robert has been at the forefront of educational innovation. He is also a highly sought-after international speaker on AI, technology, and their impact on companies.

Shanise Abhelakh

Shanise began her career in government, quickly advancing to discussions with members of the House of Representatives on critical policy issues. After two years, she transitioned to KLM, where she excelled in the role of Senior Threat Intelligence Manager. In this position, she honed her leadership, crisis management, and communication skills, particularly concerning geopolitical conflicts and cybersecurity.

Motivated by a desire to help others, Shanise founded her own company and served as a NIS-2 Project Manager at Z-CERT. She firmly believes that anyone can learn the soft skills necessary for success, regardless of their background. As a trainer, Shanise shares her knowledge to inspire and guide others in their professional growth within the IT and cybersecurity fields.
